Ciaran Roche

Ciaran Roche is a technology and business leader with over 20 years of international experience in IT infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, and digital transformation strategy. A member of the Forbes Technology Council, he is recognized for his expertise in designing and delivering complex enterprise-scale IT strategies that align technology with measurable business outcomes.

After 15 years working across Europe and the United States in technical and strategic consulting roles, Ciaran co-founded Coevolve in 2014 with a vision to redefine global managed network and security services. The company was built to move beyond traditional telco-dependent models, offering co-managed, flexible solutions that enable enterprises to scale securely and with greater agility.

As Co-Founder and Global CTO, Ciaran leads innovation across SD-WAN, SASE, and multi-cloud networking, driving the development of next-generation managed services. Since launching Smart Services in 2021, Ciaran has focused on integrating AI and machine learning into network operations to improve visibility, efficiency, and strategic decision-making for enterprise IT leaders.

Under Ciaran’s direction, Coevolve partners with leading global technology providers including Arista, Cato Networks, Microsoft, Google, Equinix, and GNX, delivering flexible, high-performance solutions that support enterprise transformation at scale. The company operates globally with solutions deployed in more than 82 countries across six continents. It supports environments spanning over 800 telcos and ISPs, including low-Earth orbit satellite and 5G mobile networks.

Prior to co-founding Coevolve, Ciaran held senior roles at Pace Harmon, Reliance Globalcom, and Vanco, advising Fortune 500 organizations and leading large-scale global network and technology programs exceeding US$700 million in value.

He is also the host of Ahead of the Cloud, a podcast exploring emerging networking technologies and enterprise digital transformation.
