Position Overview

The Junior Full-stack Developer will assist in building and maintaining web applications and services that support Coevolve’s digital offerings. This role will work closely with the Senior Full-stack & AI Engineer to develop both front-end and back-end components. The position provides an excellent opportunity to learn and grow while contributing to meaningful projects in a collaborative environment. 

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain front-end components using ReactJS and modern JavaScript frameworks 
  • Assist in building and supporting back-end services using AWS technologies 
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following company standards 
  • Participate in code reviews to improve code quality and knowledge sharing 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement features and resolve issues 
  • Assist in testing and debugging applications to ensure functionality and performance 
  • Document code, processes, and technical specifications 
  • Learn and apply best practices in web development and cloud technologies 
  • Support the integration of AI features into application interfaces 
  • Assist with database design, implementation, and optimization 
  • Participate in daily standups and sprint planning meetings 
  • Complete assigned tasks within project timelines 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience) 
  • 0-2 years of experience in web development 
  • Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one modern front-end framework (React preferred) 
  • Basic understanding of server-side programming (Node.js, Python, or similar) 
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and basic API concepts 
  • Basic knowledge of database systems (SQL and/or NoSQL) 
  • Understanding of version control systems (Git) 
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and frameworks 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
